Fighter Pilot. Prisoner of War-2 yrs. Stalag Luft I. Shot down over Germany Oct. 10th 1943-Bombardier-95th BG.  Fighter pilot 1949-1963. Stalag Luft I, South Compound-barracks 2-Room 7.  Later: F-86 Pilot in Korea. Phil is one of  3 men left who were in barracks 2-Room 7. These fine men are slowly leaving us. Phil is now 83 yrs. old and no longer can grip an artists paint brush to paint.

A copy of Phil's print hangs in the British air museum in England.

The only survivors of Stalag Luft I South Compound-barracks 2-Room 7, Phil Janney, Odell Myers, Fred Kennie.
